Fr\u00e5 2003 har H\u00f8gre vore i opposisjon i kommunestyret i Austevoll. Gjennom desse 12 \u00e5ra har H\u00f8gre funne saman med Ap i ei rekke saker. Ved kommunevalet i Austevoll i 2015 fekk H\u00f8gre ein oppslutnad p\u00e5 37,8 prosent og Arbeidarpartiet 24,2 prosent. Med 62 prosent av stemmene i Austevoll er valresultatet eit klart mandat fr\u00e5 veljarane om \u00e5 gjennomf\u00f8re eit politisk skifte. Arbeidarpartiet og H\u00f8gre har derfor s\u00f8kt saman i eit valteknisk samarbeid. Arbeidarpartiet og H\u00f8gre har ogs\u00e5 funne grunnlag for \u00e5 etablere ein politisk plattform for dei neste fire \u00e5ra. Den politiske plattforma vil vere tonegivande for satsingar i kommunebudsjetta og i saker som blir fremja i kommunestyret.<\/div>
