Kommunen jobbar no med to viktige samferdselsprosjekt. Det eine er Austevollpakken, der ein har kome godt i gang. Det andre er arbeidet med \u00e5 styrke sn\u00f8ggb\u00e5ttilbodet mellom Austevoll og Bergen. I budsjettet vart det l\u00f8yvd 1,5 million kroner til samferdselssatsing i 2018, og 3 millionar kvart \u00e5r dei p\u00e5f\u00f8lgjande tre \u00e5ra i \u00f8konomiplanperioden.<\/p>

\u2014 Kommunestyrets budsjettvedtak gjer det mogleg for kommunen \u00e5 l\u00f8yve pengar til \u00e5 styrke rutetilbodet til og fr\u00e5 kommunen. Dette kan ha stor gevinst for alle som bur i kommunen, bedrifter som er avhengig av pendlarar og for reiselivet, seier Morten Storeb\u00f8.<\/p>

I budsjettet vert ogs\u00e5 r\u00e5dmannen beden om \u00e5 setje i gang ei reisevaneunders\u00f8king. Denne vil danne grunnlaget for ei eventuell satsing p\u00e5 sn\u00f8ggb\u00e5t.<\/p>

\u2014 F\u00f8r me gjennomf\u00f8rer ei stor og dyr satsing, er det viktig at me f\u00e5r s\u00e5 mykje informasjon som mogleg i forkant. Denne reisevaneunders\u00f8kinga vil blant anna ta for seg kor mange fleire som vil velje \u00e5 ta sn\u00f8ggb\u00e5t dersom rutetilbodet blir betre. Det gjeld ikkje minst om fleire som dagpendlar til Austevoll vil ta b\u00e5t i staden for, dersom den f\u00e5r meir fornuftige rutetider fr\u00e5 Bergen og s\u00f8rover.<\/p>

H\u00f8gre og Arbeidarpartiet ser ei satsing p\u00e5 sn\u00f8ggb\u00e5t i samanheng med sentrumsutvikling av Storeb\u00f8. I tillegg kan den ha stor betydning for reiselivsn\u00e6ringa, ikkje minst i Bekkjarvik.<\/p><\/div>\n
