Under tittelen \u00abLa seks\u00e5ringene f\u00e5 ha sommerferien sin i fred\u00bb , angriper R\u00f8dt ved Anne Birgit Kalvik i et leserinnlegg den 7. august et forslag fra Lillestr\u00f8m H\u00f8yre om innf\u00f8ring av gratis og frivillig sommerskole for 6-\u00e5ringene i kommunen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overskriften hennes f\u00e5r det til \u00e5 h\u00f8res ut som at skolen er en belastning for barna. Det er den selvsagt ikke, de aller fleste barna trives veldig godt i skolen i Lillestr\u00f8m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leserinnlegget gir meg anledning til \u00e5 utdype hva Lillestr\u00f8m H\u00f8yre mener med dette forslaget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tilbud om frivillig sommerskole ble i sin tid innf\u00f8rt av H\u00f8yre i Oslo og fordi man s\u00e5 hvor vellykket dette var, er det senere ogs\u00e5 blitt innf\u00f8rt i mange kommuner, ogs\u00e5 i Lillestr\u00f8m for 5.-10. trinn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det er et veldig popul\u00e6rt tilbud for skolebarn i alle aldre med et godt aktivitetstilbud hvor lek og l\u00e6ring g\u00e5r h\u00e5nd i h\u00e5nd. Sommerskolen er dessuten gratis slik at alle kan delta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vi vet at de aller fleste barn gleder seg veldig til \u00e5 begynne p\u00e5 skolen. Samtidig er overgangen fra barnehagen stor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vi mener et tilbud om sommerskole vil gj\u00f8re 6-\u00e5ringene bedre rustet til \u00e5 takle det nye hverdagen. De vil f\u00e5 anledning til ved \u00e5 bli kjent og v\u00e6re med p\u00e5 aktiviteter og lek i felleskap med de andre barna som de skal begynne p\u00e5 skolen sammen med. Vi tenker det vil skape trygghet og lette innkj\u00f8ringen til skolen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forslaget m\u00e5 selvsagt utredes godt og utvikles i dialog med fagfolkene i kommunen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lillestr\u00f8m H\u00f8yre er opptatt av \u00e5 ta vare p\u00e5 barna og gi dem gode og forutsetninger til \u00e5 lykkes i skolen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
