I Vestland fylkeskommune er me tverrpolitisk samde om at me m\u00e5 st\u00e5 saman for \u00e5 f\u00e5 realisert dei viktigaste vegprosjekta v\u00e5re. I Bergen er strategien \u00e5 strupa eigne vegprosjekt, og med det spela lotto om kvar midlane hamnar. Det er ein s\u00e6rs d\u00e5rleg strategi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For \u00e5 unnskylda eige svik mot Sunnhordland og Vestlandet, pr\u00f8ver byr\u00e5det i Bergen \u00e5 teikna eit bilete av at dersom me skrotar Hordfast, s\u00e5 f\u00e5r me meir pengar til andre prosjekt. Det er direkte feil. Det er ikkje slik at regjeringa automatisk kan flytta 46 milliardar fr\u00e5 Hordfast over til rassikring eller E16. Av desse 46 milliardane skal prosjektet finansierast med 15 milliardar i bompengar, 8 milliardar i innsparte ferjemidlar, og 9 milliardar i mva, som staten f\u00e5r igjen. Det er derfor totalt 14 milliardar kroner staten m\u00e5 bruka til \u00e5 finansiera prosjektet. Det er i beste fall naivt \u00e5 tru at dersom Vestland sj\u00f8lv skrotar Hordfast, s\u00e5 f\u00e5r me meir til andre vegprosjekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er det noko det siste \u00e5ret har vist er det at me har ei regjering som aktivt nedprioriterer Vestlandet. Dersom me p\u00e5 eige initiativ skrotar v\u00e5re eigne samferdselsprosjekt, er det ei rekkje andre fylke som gledeleg tek imot desse pengane til vegprosjekta sine. Pengane er med andre ord ikkje bunde til Vestlandet, men forsvinn like gjerne til Oslo-regionen om me takkar nei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snart st\u00e5r Rogfast ferdig. Eit prosjekt som knyter heile Sunnhordland mot Haugesund og Stavanger, og som saman med Hordfast gjev ei reisetid mellom Bergen og Stavanger til ned mot to timar. Utan Hordfast skapar me ein skiljevegg mellom nord- og s\u00f8rdelen av gamle Hordaland. Med det fr\u00e5skriv me oss h\u00f8vet til \u00e5 sikra ein felles bu- og arbeidsregion for Vestlandet, og gir samtidig Rogaland ein enorm fordel ved \u00e5 st\u00e5 \u00e5leine med gode infrastruktur-samband regionalt. Det vil ramma Vestland hardt, b\u00e5de med tanke p\u00e5 tilgang til arbeidskraft, og ved at me gjer oss sj\u00f8lv mindre attraktive for nyetableringar for n\u00e6ringslivet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vestlandet har st\u00e5tt saman om ferjefri E39 i over 20 \u00e5r. Prosjektet er viktig for \u00e5 kunna st\u00e5 opp mot austlandsdominansen der midlane alltid har vore prioritert. Me p\u00e5 Vestlandet m\u00e5 jobba saman for at regjeringa skal l\u00f8yva meir pengar til regionen v\u00e5r, ikkje mindre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heldigvis er det tverrpolitisk semje om \u00e5 jobba for Hordfast i fylkespolitikken. La oss h\u00e5pa regjeringa lyttar til det samla fleirtalet i Vestland, og ikkje til Arbeidarpartiet i Bergen eller dei partia som vil skrote heile prosjektet.<\/p>\n\n\n
