Vote Høyre in the 2025 parliamentary election!

Høyre will give you more freedom so that you can take charge of your own life — free to make the choices that best suit you and your family. We’ll keep making Norway an even better place to live, without big, disruptive shake‑ups. People are different; politics should respect that. Politicians can’t—and shouldn’t—try to run everything. We believe everyone has a personal responsibility to build a good life for themselves and their loved ones.
Below are some clear, common‑sense reasons to vote for Høyre in this year’s parliamentary election.
Tax cuts for everyone
Most people in Norway have seen their spending power drop in recent years. Høyre will cut your taxes so you can keep more of what you earn. You know best how to spend your money—whether that means saving for your first flat, buying the kids some new clothes, or finally putting a little aside.
Høyre pledges a tax cut of NOK 1,000 per month for every employee. For a two‑adult household, that amounts to NOK 24,000 a year. In addition, earnings under NOK 150,000 will be tax‑free.

More learning and less disruption in our schools
The foundation of our children’s future is laid in their early years and through a high-quality education. That is why strengthening our schools is one of Høyre’s top priorities.
Today, one in three young people leaves school without being able to read and write properly. Høyre will provide targeted support for pupils who fall behind and introduce more ability-grouped teaching in shorter, focused periods. We will restore respect for teachers and return discipline to the classroom. We will also retain grades and examinations in both lower and upper secondary education.

Høyre aims to position Norway as one of the leading countries globally for business start-ups
We will make it simpler to start up and to run a business in Norway, from a local high-street shop to a major enterprise. Successful businesses create jobs and help more people stand on their own feet. That’s why Høyre will cut taxes for businesses and cut red tape.

More police and a tougher stance on crime
In recent years, Oslo and Norway have become less safe. Many people fear becoming victims of crime, and criminal gangs have gained a foothold across the country. Crime has grown harsher, more brutal, and more visible. Høyre wants a society where everyone can live freely without fear of being subjected to crime. That is why we must take back control from the gangs—and restore safety for residents. Høyre pledges at least 1,000 new police officers and a national action plan to combat gang-related crime.
